Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: your first and last name, email and password (handled securely by our sign-in provider; we never see your password).
• Optional profile details you choose to add: nickname, phone, NYC timeline, Blockheads years, favorite drink and order, neighborhood, bio.
• Content you submit: stories, photos, captions, likes, poll votes and reports.
• Mailing list: your email, whether you're interested in a reunion, and when and where you gave consent.

What's public

Only approved stories and photos, shown with your nickname (or first name if you have none). Your full name, email, phone, and NYC dates are never shown unless you switch on that setting in your profile. Your phone and email are never public.

Photos

We keep your original upload privately. The public copy is resized and re-encoded, which removes camera and location (EXIF) data.

Email

Creating an account does not subscribe you to email. We only send updates if you tick the opt-in box. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and members can switch it off any time in their profile. We don't sell or share the list.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, delete your stories and photos, and unsubscribe at any time. To delete your account entirely, contact the project organizers and we'll remove it.

This is a fan-led project, not affiliated with the former Blockheads restaurant.
